BBC to invest extra £10 million in comedy - British Comedy Guide

The BBC is set to invest an extra £10 million in "high-impact comedy programming" over the next two years. The news was revealed at the inaugural BBC Comedy Festival, at the same time as a number of series commissions and announcements.
